Senior Training and Employment Worker – Construction Training Initiative
35 hours per week (Flexible working hours).

Our clients award winning Construction Training Initiative is the leader in its field, and has enabled hundreds of unemployed people to gain qualifications and employment in the construction industry since 1995. Having won many awards and much recognition, our client grown to cover a large area of North and West London. Their plans for continued growth and development of the project have led to the creation of this new senior post.
We are looking for someone who would enjoy responsibility for the day-to-day co-ordination of the project; primarily to lead, support and organise the work of the Training and Employment Workers to provide on site support to trainees and contractors. You will engage with many and various partners including Housing Associations, Building Contractors and FE Colleges, to gain their support and co-operation towards delivering the project’s aims.
Reporting to the Construction Training Manager, you will be based at their offices in West London, but will spend much of your time out of the office visiting various locations around London.
You will be a self-motivated individual, with experience of managing and motivating staff and have highly developed organisational skills. It will be important for you to have an understanding of the modern construction industry.
