Our client is a new subsidiary of an established International Property and Construction Management Group of Companies, specialising in health, safety, sustainability and social inclusion. They are currently looking to recruit experienced CDM Co-ordinators who are able to work in a team environment where technical knowledge and quality are critical to the delivery of the service.
There is the opportunity to work on high profile and challenging projects over all major sectors and with progressive clients. Examples of the caliber of projects are the new Heathrow East Terminal, Crossrail, The Pinnacle and the Olympics. The roles are based in Greater London and the South East
The Requirements: The main requirement is to provide advice and to manage the processes to achieve a safer working environment for construction operatives, maintainers and users over the life cycle of the building or structure. In this role a good understanding of the design and construction process in the context of health and safety is essential.
• A core discipline in design or construction delivery • Appropriate qualifications in health and safety • Membership of the Association for Project Safety • At least three years experience undertaking the role of CDM-C / Planning Supervisor • At least five years experience working in the construction industry • The ability to work in the team environment • Good client and professional team facing skills • Willingness to become involved in departmental development • A detailed working knowledge of the CDM Regulations • Customer orientation, with a conviction that the role should add value for thier clients
